Did an hour long beach clean up from Kalama Beach Park to Castles in Kailua today. Found an abundance of micro plastics, several kids toys, and one incredibly odd barbie doll of some kind! Make sure to take home with you everything you bring to the beach and reduce single use plastics whenever possible! Mahalo!

Many times owners of a new saltwater fish aquarium will do things that may seem OK to them but are actually harming their fish and setting themselves up for possible failure. The most common of these activities is very easy to avoid if you just know what they are. 12/23/2018 05:32:45 am
That is why environmental fees must be charged to the visitors of the nature. I guess that many people nowadays lack of discipline. It is so sad to see the environment being unpleasant because of people. There is nothing wrong in being happy about vacations or doing somethings, but we must consider to leave the place pleasant and beautiful as it is. Do not let the younger generations see the imitations of the true beauty of environment like for example, trees. Avoid cutting tree because we do not know, trees might end up just a picture someday.
