This was without a doubt one of my all time favorite beach clean ups!!

When I heard that my friend and former fellow wrestling coach Todd and his family were moving to Oahu I was obviously super excited. Then, when I found out that Todd's young son couldn't stop talking about wanting to get out and help on beach clean ups, well...that was just about more excitement than I could bear!

We got out today in Waimanlo and picked up a vast array of micro plastics, fish traps, oyster spacers, nets and ropes. And Erickson was the total MVP of the day! At one point he grabbed a big section of heavy wet rope, looked up at me and exclaimed, 'Don't worry, I got this' and hauled the whole section out to the street!
