 Woke up to catch sunrise and do a 'lazy' trash patrol on a secluded stretch of coastline on the North Shore. Found a monster ghost net, and that 'laid back, easy morning' turned into quite the work day...and quick! Hauled this monster out over a mile so it wouldn't wash back out and risk entangling monk seals, whales, sea turtles, or damage the reef. And in a moment of what sure felt like instant karma, saw whales surfacing just a few hundred yards offshore, blasting out their blowholes and putting on quite the show! Pretty sure they were saying hi and thanks...!
