 Great beach cleanup today on Oahu's North Shore with an awesome crew!

 Cleaning the beaches and thinking about the amazing example of JFK today on the anniversary of his tragic assassination. The President was just 46. What a legacy...and a challenge. What will you do to help your fellow man before 46??  Did you know that the ocean produces almost 75% of the world's oxygen? Plastic pollution is slowly but surely choking out the ocean and starving it of oxygen. This crime against nature is also a crime against ourselves. In the end, we will all become victims to our own inability to choose long term health over short term convenience. I suppose this faulty wiring in humans means we were meant to go extinct. Id rather see us make the sacrifices now however and just stop using that unnecessary plastic. But I suppose that's just me...   After a long day of work it felt great to head up to the North Shore for a last minute sunset beach cleanup! So satisfying in fact, that I kept cleaning late into the night and made a virtual clean sweep of that stretch of coastline at Kahuku. This is what Fridays look like at 36 lol...! Note the obvious bite marks on this plastic bottle from fish mistaking this plastic as food. So tragic...  |
