North Shore, Oahu - Beach Cleanup
Finally got out of self isolation during the Coronavirus lockdown for a quick beach cleanup on Oahu's most remote coastline. Felt so good to get some sun, some exercise, and to do a good deed while abiding by the necessary mandates. We stayed on the move and saw virtually no one the whole day.
As a bonus, I was able to rig up a good system by cutting up some ghost net lines to tie off and haul out some serios poundage over 2 miles back to the parking lot.
If trying to get some exercise by walking the beach you might as well take a bucket or bag with you and do a cleanup along the way.
Hope everyone is staying safe and making good decisions!
With one day left til shelter-in-place takes effect, we got out to do a small group beach cleanup.
We know this was 'pushing it' but these are dear friends we are already in close contact with and just had to get some Vitamin D and do some good along the way! Hope everyone is staying safe and staying positive.
Malama aina and Aloha.

When great friends are on island you just gotta paddle out and scale Chinaman's Hat..even in high winds and heavy rains!
...And finish with a beach cleanup to show gratitude for this amazing place and such a wonderful time!
